About Me

About Me

I graduated from Bradley University, earning my BS Degree in Electronic Media. I also have a minor in Interactive Media (Multimedia). My passions include filmmaking, design, music and photography - all of which fall under the broad category of storytelling. I have taken courses on audio composition, interactive media, television production, filmmaking, and creative writing.

At college, I was a member of the Bradley HEAT, a peer education group on campus involved with teaching kids about safe sex, sexual assault, and responsible alcohol consumption. I was on the Community Outreach Committee, which is focused mainly on advertising the group's many programs, events, and services. As the executive of the committee, I made promotional videos, designed T-shirts, and created several campus-wide posters for both HEAT and ACBU - The Activities Council at Bradley University.

I am currently employed at the e-commerce site, PulseTV.com. I'm the multimedia-specialist, in charge of directing/producing the Video Deal of The Day for each of our products, as well as graphic design and product photography. I also assist as a product evaluator and buyer for picking out all the cool stuff to sell.

About This Blog

I'm constantly creating. It's what I love to do. The more I challenge myself to create, the better I believe I become. A blog like this is meant to do two things. Sometimes my friends/family ask me "how do you do that?" with certain video productions / or ask about Photoshop techniques, so I describe my process along with the latest and greatest thing I've been working on. That's one reason, but I primarily manage this blog to hone my critical thinking skills involving my art. The more I reflect on my process, the more articulate I can be in describing it and creating a true and unique voice for myself through various means.

About More

My college experience expanded my expertise and helped to develop a critical eye for my own work and the work of others. I find that I have a strong attention to detail, while maintaining an aesthetically-pleasing minimalist approach. My style has evolved from combining my favorite bands' art styles: Nirvana (grunge) and the White Stripes (minimalism).
